Veterinary Services acts as the city pound of Cannon Falls.
Whenever a stray is dropped off, we immediately use a
scanning device to find out if the animal is micro chipped.
Without the chip, it makes it very difficult to locate the
animal’s owner. CVS believes it is very important to have
your pet micro chipped. Not only can it reunite you and your
pet if they get lost, it can ultimately save their lives as
well.The Home Again
chip is a very safe, painless, and quick procedure. The
microchip is given as an injection between the dog’s or
cat’s shoulder blades. Afterwards, we give the owner a form
to fill out and send into the AKC. They are nationally
registered and can be tracked throughout the United States.
