The
Human - Animal Bond
Responsible pet ownership
involves a constant commitment of time, communication and
leadership skills. It is a small price to pay for the
unconditional love, health benefits and services that pets
provide. The connection and relationship you experience with
your animal is extremely important for your psychological
and physical health. Medical science has found that pet
owners lead a happier and healthier lifestyle. For people of
all ages, dogs are tail wagging psychologists and face
licking social workers. For many, it is easier to express
affection to and receive affection from an animal, than from
another human. CVS has embraced the “Human Animal Bond”
awareness. Our mission is to educate and support pet owners,
so you can better understand your animal family members.
We believe that when we train
pets to reach their maximum potential, we enrich the
relationship and build a foundation of communication that
supports the “human animal bond” throughout their life.

owners before a seizure starts, monitor “freezing”
in Parkinson patients, alert hypoglycemic patients,
detect early cancer stages in patients, and shut off
lights or pick up objects for the wheel chair
impaired. |
 |
Police Dogs Protect and defend their
officers as well as the general public. The dogs
serve and protect their soldiers who at war. They
sniff drugs, explosives and dangerous chemicals.

sense of smell to locate lost children and adults,
or injured people. |
Dr. Winter and the CVS staff
are thankful to be working in a profession that expresses
how we feel about the animals. All of us share our personal
and professional lives with our horse’s dogs and cats. We
firmly believe in and promote the “human animal bond”.
